Graduation Party

Some one special in your life graduating? To make the party stand out a little try wrapping the silverware in a white napkin with a ribbon to look like a diploma.

Get a few glow sticks in the school colors and place them under the ice in a clear bowl with the drinks to add a little color. Another option bust a glow stick in a mason jar with some water to add for extra lighting.
For outside parties, bury glowsticks in the ice.

Guests Emergency Kit

Have you ever been to a reception and needed aspirin, or a bobby pin but realized you didn't have any?   Fill a basket with items you think your guests may need such as aspirin, mints, lotion, etc. Add a sign to it stating that should they need any item from the basket to help themselves. Place the baskets in the reception hall restrooms for your guests to use.

Christmas Weddings

Great use of wine glasses
Planning a Christmas themed wedding? One centerpiece idea is to put Christmas bulbs under wine glasses with a candle on top. Another option would be to put bulbs or candy canes in a jar.

Hot chocolate favors + peppermint
For a Christmas themed wedding peppermints or hot chocolate would be fun favors or treats during the reception.

Light

Need more light for your ceremony? Adding lanterns to the end of each pew is a great stylish way to add more light. Either setting it on the floor or tying a small lantern to the the end of the pew with ribbon will add more light to the space and it's a great decoration as well. To save money you can use these at the ceremony and then use them for center pieces at the reception.
Love how the flowers sit on top of the pew

If your looking for more of a  beach style you can fill a jar with some sand and place a candle in it. If the space doesn't allow candles, try battery operated candles.

outdoor lighting on patio...just use old glass pickle, spaghetti, etc. jars

Meet the Bridal Party

Meet the Maids.. very cute!!

Do you want to let your guests know a little more about the special people you chose to stand up next to you the day of your wedding?

In the program you could have a special insert or section dedicated to a small paragraph about your bridal party.

Another option would be to have a table at your reception with a picture frame of each member of the bridal party with or without you and tell why that person is so important to you that you wanted them included in your day. If you did this option then you could always give it to the person as a special thank you gift.
